My all time favorite is the Vicar of Dibley! Sadly, it hasn't been broadcast in my area for at least a year.

Also like a few others mentioned above, such as To The Manor Born and As Time Goes By. Never got on with Little Briton though, I dislike catchphrase based comedy as it tires quite quickly.

We love 'em here too. There's one, "Steptoe and Son," which apparently was the inspiration for "Sanford and Son." At least I *think* it's a comedy. My husband tells me it's on order and he's been looking forward to it's arrival.

We both love to hate Hyacinth Bucket.
