Don't take this the wrong way... I mean this with the sincerest intentions...
Maybe this dream is showing you that maybe you've said something to someone that is going to be found out. That you were all talk (beak becoming a hinge fromt heback of the head) and hot air (feathers covering nothing but air).
Perhaps it's a warning that you better come clean before the whole thing blows apart and comes fluttering down in ashes.
And when it does the world will be very dark and stark around you for a while.
My opinion...

Well the last interpretation just cracked me up- thanks for the laugh!!
But hey Wendy & Firefly I think you are both bang on. A situation I wrote about elsewhere is over now & the clouds of worry around it are blowing away...and yes I have just met someone...well actually someone I've known for a few years & liked, but never done anything about because of all the other emotional stuff going on. Funny thing is he came up to talk to me the very day I asked for God & the angels to take away the bad situation for healing. Early days so we'll see, but I'm feeling very light & cheerful all of a sudden.
Mind I think the avatar is in need of changing...must find out where Trishh got hers.

And yesterday I went driving somewhere different & passed a pub all boarded up called The Raven. I've sensed that raven has taken a back seat recently & Eagle has come in more strongly. As I pondered the significance & whether that's what it meant I caught sight of a lorry parked up in a layby covered in Eagle logos...odd because the eagle thing kicked off with the Aquila horoscope & confirmation through a lorry called Aquila. Maybe I am getting spiritual messages through HGVs now... So do I need a new name again? I was getting fond of Ravenstar Any suggestions (NB nice ones please)

Funnily enough when I changed my name in emails my sister wrote back as Lisa Eaglemoon. I wondered for a while who it was

Is EagleMoon a mooning Eagle? Similar to a gnu's rear? Ya know yesterday I was looking at photos I took in December in Whistler, BC. There was a band playing on a gazebo, a weathervane on top of the gazebo, and a crow perched on the weathervane. I took several pictures. The guys in the band thought I was photographing them! The weathervane has an eagle on it, and the crow is sitting directly across from the eagle.

Is EagleMoon a mooning Eagle? Similar to a gnu's rear? Too funny! Not Eaglemoon then. Just addressed an envelope to someone called Eaglestone, how does that grab you? Have changed avatar to the design I had done for my Mind Body Spirit show by my web wizard/ all round design guru. A bit lighter than the last, it's a kind of faery landscape...

In a lot of Native American folk tales, the crow is a trickster. He comes along to show you the flip side of life, to remind us that what we see isn't always what's real.
An alternative myth that I don't much care for is that crows are harbingers of doom. Supposedly that's why they call a group of crows a "murder of crows".

That's right Lynn, though I'm fond of the whole family- they are intelligent birds- like me We had a good thread going on the Folklore forum about the Crow family.
