Hello! For a while I've known that I want red somewhere in the color scheme of my wedding ( my bouquet, bridesmaids dresses) but now I'm starting to think about all the other colors out there. What colors will good with RED?! Thanks!

I think any jewel tone would be pretty...purple, blue...even pink.

Red looks great with most colors actually (except white): Consider:

Deep red with a purple
Red with hot pink
Red with touches of chartreuse green
Red with touches of orange
Red with chocolate brown (ribbon only)

Dazed,

You're planning an April wedding right?

I'm thinking of all of the bright colored tulips that are blooming in the spring and look so natural together.

Red, Yellow, Pink, Purple; Here's a link to a beautiful picture of what I'm talking about,
Amsterdam Tulips

The most unusual wedding flowers I have done was for a wedding done in red (dresses, etc.)
The "flowers" were ALL done with greenery!

THe bride adored the diversity of green things and against the deep rich claret color of her dresses, the all green bouquets were amazing!

Lots of very large leaves( hostas and smaller monstera), many varieties of fern fronds, lots of different lily grasses, bear grass and even some vine-ey sorts of plant materials were used to define the shapes of these high-style bouquets.

I added some colorful dyed to match claret-color oak leaves
into he bridesmaids bouquets and a little bit of white montecasino to the bridal piece to lend femininity.

Into the larger background vases, I used a great deal of vines, fresh curly willow and kiwi vine along with banana leaves, Ti and monstera.

Well behaved women rarely make history.....
