Sir Henry at Rawlinson end by the late great Vivian Stanshall.

Actually I didn't really, it was probably something rubbish on telly instead, but I just wanted to plug the best film ever made.

Derailed.
My last post I listed was Prime.
IMHO it was worthy of "drama" status at times and yet Meryl Streep made me laugh.

Was the Sentinel good Taisha? I kind of wanted to see it but wasn't sure if it was going to be the traditional action movie fare, which is often so formulaic.

I saw "Stick It", with my 17 year old daughter. Was not the best movie, but def. not the worse one I've seen. Def. a chick flick....

About computer code and high tech.

Hard to find movies to watch with my teen kids, but they liked this one.

The last good movie, or just the last movie?

Watched Transporter 2 and The Sound of Thunder on DVD last week. Transporter made me laugh so much, but I don't think it was supposed to be funny. I was rolling on the floor when the main character flipped his car in the air and used a convenient crane to scrape the bomb off the bottom of the car before landing neatly on his wheels and continuing on his way (while the bomb explodes safely in the air, of course). Thunder was fun too, based on a Ray Bradbury book.

Neither was particularly memorable though. I'm still wracking my brains to remember the last really good movie I saw. I'll get back to you.

Whale Rider was being shown on TV on Sunday, but it was on too late and I was too tired to get into it. So I went to bed. I believe it's supposed to be good.

Oh - I think the last good movie I watched was Amelie. I saw that on DVD last year sometime.

But sometimes the incredibly stupid, corny, and predictable movies can be the most fun to watch because they are so funny. I am planning my worst movie festival ever night for me and my friends and the features will be: Electric Boogaloo 1 and 2 and a sort of documentary (gotta hunt that title down) on Vanilla Ice--It doesn't get funnier than that!

Whale Rider was very good, I've seen that 3 or 4 times. I'm going to check out Amelie (who's in that?)

Audrey Tattou - she's now starring opposite Tom Hanks in The Di Vinci Code. Amelie is in French with subtitles. It's one of those movies that gives you the feeling of sunshine in your tummy and makes you want to dance around your kitchen. It's funny and sweet and lovely.
