Bret". Edge hung the phone up and didn't look happy.

"The Hitman says to do what we have to do to keep things secretive. He wants us to meet him at his hotel in a half hour."

"Man, i hope he knows what he is doing or this whole thing is going to blow up in our faces and we'll all be working for ROH." Trish said.

"Don't worry. Bret always knows what he's doing." said a voice from behind them. They turned and were really shocked to see....

Shawn Michaels. Edge looked around the room at the collective group, all with their mouths hanging wide open. "Sh Sha Shawn!" Edge stammered, obviously taken aback at the arrival of The Heart Break Kid.
"Oh, you have no idea? Shawn said with a mischievous grin. "I was late arriving to the arena so I took a short cut through the boiler room, and I saw something pretty, umm, strange. Mickie James was in Chris Benoits arms. They didn't notice me, but I KNEW something was up, so I went searching for answers, then I hid outside this door and listened to your whole conversation."

With a wild eyed look Edge growled, "And you are going to stop us?"

"Not exactley, said HBK "In fact I want in, and I have an idea to bring on..."

"...Vince Russo. I know, I know. You're all shaking your heads but who better to get into Vince's head but Russo? Who better to throw a monkey wrench into everyone's little 'takeover ploys' than Russo? I think we all agree. We're not happy the way things are. So why not do to Vince what he did to WCW? Send Russo in. WWE will go down and no one can point the finger at us. Then we can fight over who actually controls this place."

HBK stopped and looked at the crowd.

Edge spoke up. "And Bret's Ok with this?"

HBK nodded. "It was hid idea."

Silently everyone nodded. They hated Russo but if anyone could take WWE down and loosen Vince's grip on it, Russo could. Then it would be a war as to who would old onto the promotion.

"Just one thing. Russo can't know anything. We'll bring him in, send him to Vince and his..uh...lovely daughter Stephanie and let him pitch storylines. Russo won't have a clue he is actually taking the place down. He believes his ideas are good," Shawn laughed then got serious again.

"So are you all with me?

They nodded.

"Then I'll make the call," he said and dialed the phone...

However, before anyone answered, HBK hung the phone up.
"What's the matter?" Edge asked. "Get his voice mail?"
No, I just had a brilliant idea. We need some money behind us as well. And who do you think would have some money to back us?

"Ted DiBiase?" Edge replied.

"No. Think about it? Who would love to get revenge against Vince? Who would love to take him down?"

Benoit smiled and said, "You don't mean...."

..."Ted Turner. Think about it, Vince put him out of the 'rasslin business, that has to still burn for ole' Teddy Boy!"

"Do you think Ted will go for all of this?" Edge said with a huge grin.

"WAIT A DAMN MINUTE!" The voice from just around the corner was more then a little tense. Turning, everyone saw the sillohette of what looked like a cowboy hat...

JBL stormed out of the shadows.

"You can consider yourself financially backed by a true, aaaaaaaaamerican hero!" He hollered.

Edge winced and replied...

"Who would that be, JBL? Hulk Hogan?"

Eveyone laughed and JBL was livid.
"Edge what does the R stand for in Rated R? Retarded? I am the American hero, the only American hero who can back you on this endeavor."

"No, it stands for Really-wanna-kick-JBL'S-[censored], but I will put that on the back burner for now. Okay, so we will call Russo and Turner. Anyone else?"

"Yeah, how about me?" said another voice from the door."I want to get even with Vince as well." said.....

The Ultimate Warrior. He was in full make up and shaking like a maniac. "Did you see how he slaughtered me on that DVD? It's time he goes down and I have the perpetual income status to help us achieve our ultimate goal which is to..."

As he rambled, a voice was heard over the loud speaker.

"Everyone in this building - bar none - is to report to the front of the arena immediately. Take a seat in sections 1 thorough 4 and await the announcement. Anyone left in this arena who is not in the seats after five minutes has elapsed will be forcibly removed from the premises. The clock is ticking. Please head to the main area of the area and take a seat."

Everyone looked at each other. They could hear the sound of footsteps in the hallway headed toward the front of the arena.

Warrior looked unfazed. "How are they going to remove us? It's smoke and mirrors."

A little chuckle emerged from the crowd but no one admitted to it.

Suddenly, a squadron of police, guns pulled, busted in. "You have 30 seconds to get into the arena or we will be forced to escort your out as per the boss' orders," one said.

Edge was about to remark but saw that these guys weren't fooling and those guns were real.

"We're going. Relax. What is this? Detention?"

The cops remained focus. "It is on orders of the boss."

"Boss? What boss? Vince McMahon? He's got the police in his pocket now too?" said someone in the back.

The cops made no facial movements.

"We said the boss. Now move it.

Everyone filed out, somewhat stunned and definitely wondering what this mandatory arena meetings was, especially since it was only two and a half hours until show time.

Lita whispered on the way to the front of the arena, "Why is he walking to the front with us?" and pointed to someone ahead of the group.

Warrior was rambling but stopped long enough to take in the sight. "Looks like we'll find out who the boss is when we get in there. It sure ain't him," he said and pointed to...

The Body. Jesse Ventura was standing nearby watching everyone being herded to the arena.
"Why are we going out to the arena anyway?" Edge asked curiously. "We only have a couple of hours until the show and they are going to allow the fans in soon, plus, it's too public out there. It won't take much for the powers that be to find about this."

"Hmmm...maybe its already been found out and that's why we are being brought out. I don't understand what all the guns are about though. Would they really shoot us if we didn't go?" Lita asked.

"They won't shoot us. We aren't criminals. Pass it along. On three we disperse. They can't catch all of us." Benoit said.

It seemed armed police lined the walls of the building. Benoit looked at them then shook his head. "So we go to the arena. Obviously something huge is up. But whatever they say and whoever is 'the boss' better know we aren't going down without a fight."

The arena filled with workers and others. Jarrett and his gang had arrived and were there as were most of TNA, all kinds of veterans from days gone by, Russo, Bischoff, Pat Patterson, Heyman, even the McMahons themselves...It was a who's who of wrestling personalities.

The lights were dim but there was a ring set up. The show was only 90 minutes away. The doors would be opening at any minute. Wrestlers were fidgeting. People were buzzing. What the hell was going on?

Over the loud speaker, Lilian Garcia spoke.

"I am reading this from the boss. Please just do what you're told." There was a hint of fear in her voice.

"If I call your name you will go to the back and get geared up to work at your respective jobs. If I don't, leave by the side doors immediately and force will be used if you don't."

Everyone started talking at once but stopped when she started calling out the names.

"John Cena, Batista, Edge, Trish Stratus, Chris Jericho, Christian, Paul London, Mickie James, Samoa Joe, Paul Heyman, Ric Flair, Shane McMahon..."

The place was buzzing. Who was "the boss" and why was he picking those people? Vince was looking uncomfortable and Triple H was on the edge of his seat.

Lilian called the last five names...
