I'm sorry Alexandra..although your ideas are beautiful I just can't agree with them. Yes, many of these people have had rotten childhoods, but so have other people who are productive citizens. Yes, many of these people are living in or under the poverty level..so are many productive citizens. It is time everyone must learn to take responsiblity for their own actions..its that simple. Yes, we can be compassionate, but only to a certian extent, some people just don't want to get better. I see it every day at least 20 times a day. That's just the way it is. Anyway, we've gotten of the topic. The main point....there are those with children who are more selfish than the childfree. One final point, you stated that a bad choice does not make you a bad person...I'm sorry, but bringing a living, breathing being into the world so you can get your "fix" paid for does make you a bad person in my book...sorry.

Sorry if this came through a second time! I agree Freespirit. Unless you work with these people on a daily basis you don't get to see how the world really is..just how you would like it to be. These children eventually become society's problem becuase no one has the courage to stand up and say enough is enough..no more hand holding!!

I agree. I guess we should just be thankful us "childfrees" are doing our part, right?
