I'd love to get to know all of you a bit better. So, let's all play a simple forum game!

I will post a word here, for example, 'Basil'. The next person would post a word that starts with the last letter of my word, such as 'Lavender'. The next person would then choose a word that starts with 'R'.

But because this is the Herbs forum, all the words should have something to do with herbs!

So, for my first word...

Eucalyptus

(I LOVE rhubarb fresh form the garden...I eat the smaller stems those are the most sour and great childhood memories of having jousting matches with my younger brother with the flower stalks.)

Ok, I keep hearing about this - but I have no idea what it's for:

Noni juice (do you use the "i" or the "e"?)

BTW - I still hate words that end in the letter "N"!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Poppy.....

By the bye... Do latin (botanical)names count? Could we use them as well...? That way, the next person could have the choice of which term to use....

...as in...

Papaver Officinalis.....

Hey, Alexandra and everybody else... HI!!!

I think that is a GREAT idea about using both the botanical name and the regular, everyday name. If no one has any objections, it will certainly give us a few more options! What do you think Denise? Michelle hates words that end in "N" and I'm about out of words that begin with "E".

Chamomille - matricaria (or chamomilla) recutita

Achillea Millefolium - Yarrow <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
