I shopped at Music Zone when I was there - lots of cheap deals.

Don't know if you want to divert into the markets, but everyone enjoyed the randomness of Camden.

Camden...thanks. I think someone else mentioned that to me via email or something.

Someday, I will start compiling this into an eBook. Hehehehe.

Are you talking about the Edinburgh Woollen Mills with a million shops all over the UK? I LOVE those stores. They sell these wonderful wool blankets (aka "picnic rugs") in 2-for specials. I have bought about a dozen of them (or more?) and finally kept one for myself!

There is also a store called the Woollen Mill on High Street in Edinburgh. I don't think they are affiliated. This one is more upscale.

What about Reject China Shops or Stoke on Trent with all the pottery factory shops?

Hamley's toy store is always tops on the list when the kids go with us to London. They have a huge store that's, I think, 7 storeys tall.

Virgin Megastore and Waterstone's books are my favourites.

Hamley's...thanks! I never even considered toy stores.

Not sure anymore about compiling this info into an eBook, but at least this thread is a good reference for anyone who plans to shop in England.
