Hmmm, it sounds to me that the first one boosts your natural hair color and makes it accentuate it more while the second one adds a reflecting film to the hair. That's how I would interpret it anyway. [/q [color:"blue"]
I 'm pretty sure that is right. I have used the second one and it just adds shine I do like it though

Hi Isa,

I'm happy that you like your perm...Yes, it does relax a little after washing it...don't shampoo it everyday because that will really dry out your hair...Use a good conditioner and a leave-in everyday and don't fuss with it every second because that will make it very frizzy...

BAck to the shiny hair issue....I saw the John Frieda product mentioned earlier. Actually I saw 2 products: one that said it was to give you shiny hair and the other one was called light reflecting. What's the difference??

I found out that these hair glaze/gloss products at the drug stores are not meant for highlighted hair..I called Loreal and they told me that if someone has highlighted hair it could make the hair turn pink...I would suggest calling the company that makes the hairproduct and they could advise you what is okay to use pending the condition of your hair...

I read this thread last night, and was having my hair done today. I told her the changes I wanted and let her work her magic. Then she told me she also used a glaze (Redken) along with the color and I LOVE it! I have new color and it is shiny!

I just wanted to let everyone know I went to a salon and had the hairglossing (sometimes called glazing) done last Friday...My hair is now one colour from root to tip and I'm very happy with the results...They used the product called Redken Shades EQ the colour they used is called walnut...

I recommend this is you want even colour and shiny hair!

franny...:)

franny, your starting to convince me to do it myself. But I'm not sure if it would be wise to do it after my perm.

Guess what? I give massages and reiki. More info here!
