As for the Tooth. It was absolute hell!!!!
The tooth crapped itself on Friday, by Sat/Sun it was already unbelieveable, I was swallowing pain killers like you wouldn't believe. Finally by Wednesday Arvo I got to see the Dentist. The tooth was freakin' raging by now.
I had so many needles I lost count. She wouldn't/couldn't continue as the teeth was still sensitive. And the treatment was gonna be pretty nasty. Soooo, she refers me to another Dentist in downtown Denpasar. (I was nervous, this is Indonesia were talking about, not Australia or the USA).
When I get there the Dentisit gives me 1 shot and says "a little pain now, 1hr+ and all over"
So, away they go. I FELT EVRYTHING!!!!
The tooth was so inflamed they couldn't numb it. I knew I had to tough it out, but man, a few times it was just unreal!!
It took forever, finally two nerves are pulled out, along with most of my pain threshold. But, despite an xray, they can't find the last nerve. The Head dentist is called in. He says he has to drill to find it, no other way. So he just drills straight into the tooth and hits the nerve. I nearly jumped right outta the chair. He had 3 attempts before he drew sufficent blood to know where it was.
Anyway. 4hrs later, non stop action. (TNA eat yor heart out).
I left for home. It took a bit over a week to fully recover as far as eating etc goes. All good now though. Was it worth it. Yes. But one of the most painfull things I've EVER experienced.
