YOu guys crack me up! I think we have all proven that having kids makes you look older. I must put in a little braging here. My sister is 2 years younger than me, we all went on vacation last year and decided to go out to a bar. I was the only one carded and the bouncer stated he thought I was 25, but carded me to be on the safe side (I'm 37). Meanwhile my sister wasn't quite 34 and when she asked how old he thought she was he said 38! Did I mention she has 2 kids?? Well, that's my story can I help it I'm hot?? LOL!

alot of people who do have kids do appear run down, i think that is obvious by the posts in this thread, but alot of people who have children still look very youthful, even though we may not feel it, (myself included) i have a child and i still get carded for cigarettes, R-rated movies, alcohol ect, and i seem to be stuck in the age range of 17 to 20, even though i'm 27 almost 28.

This is a great discussion and very timely for me...Last night I was at a friend's going away party (she's moving) and one of her friends said I couldn't possibly be a day over 27!!!! How fabulous is that!? (I'm 32) When I told him my age he just looked stunned like he couldn't believe it...great fun!!!

You're right Lucky Star...there are some people who have kids that look good. But I think what we're saying is that there are certain advantages to the childfree life and one is looking younger because we have more freedom and less worries.
