Cody Posey killed his father, stepmother & stepsister. He shot them in the head with a .38 caliber gun. His father was the ranch foreman for ABC News Correspondent Sam Donaldson. Cody has testified to years of physical & mental abuse. His father burned him with a welding iron for not having "sex" with his stepmother. This was his breaking point. Witnesses & Evidence has been presented to collaborate his story. Should Cody be aquitted of the 3, 1st degree murder charges? I am follwing the trial. I hope he is acquitted. Many people are in support of Cody. He looks tired and worn out today.
Dr. Meyers for the prosecution has forgotten he is a human being and was a 14 yr old boy.
In New Mexico they call Grisham, Janet Reno's twin sister. Now I know why.

Hey Pink!
I have been keeping a close watchful eye on this trial. Sometimes I waiver back and forth, but not with this one.
I'm with you. I want Cody to be acquitted. He is in need of intense therapy. Marilea's father, is able to forgive him for the death of his daughter, so....
I believe Grisham may have taken it alittle too far today. If she doesn't watch it - there will be a "mistrial." She came pretty close to it today.
When Cody's lawyer got finished with Dr. Meiers, didn't he look quite foolish? That happened in a matters of minutes. Bam - 1,2,3!
Cody, did look tired. I can't even begin to fathom what his head feels like at the end of the day. "What are his thoughts?"
Well, glad you stopped by - come back and visit - Don't be a stranger.

Well, Cody Posey had a rough day in Court, yesterday. He was called "Murderer" over and over, again. The Judge has warned Grisham, but does she listen? No!
Cody's attorney, didn't not Object. Why? He was Sleeping.
Hopefully, the fight will be about fairplay, today. Will report you some facts later.
Have A Good One.

This young boy is in a fight of his life. And, his attorney fell asleep, took a nap, while the prosecutor was screeching, "murderer."

Well, Closing Arguments were heard today.
Grisham, probably did what most expected. She rambled on and on and on. She literally mocked all allegations/evidence of "abuse."
This was after 34 witnesses, came to testify on Cody's behalf. We're talking about School Teachers, Bible School Teachers, Family, Neighbors and the list goes on.
She has overplayed her hand through out this entire process. At times, I'm sure she left a bad taste in the Jury's mouth.
Mitchell, seem to come from a deeper thought, which works. You've heard of "Give a person enough rope and let them hang themselves."
When you know your opponent, or like kind -- they'll do it.
And, if I was facing what Cody is facing -- I would have been glad to have Mitchell Representing me. ************************************************************ Well, here's the bottom line.
The Jury has 4 options. They can convict Cody on (1) 1st degree murder (2) 2nd degree murder (3) voluntary manslaughter, or an (4) acquittal on all counts
I have watched alot of trials. I read the sad stories of true crime everyday. But, Cody Posey & his situation has moved me and touched my heart in ways I can't explain.
I do not condone violence or murder. And, I don't have a Genie in a bottle, with magic to make it go away.
But if I did....
I can't help it but I want Cody Posey to go home.

Have A Great Day!

While watching bits & pieces of the trial, I thought the prosecutors have no clue about abused children. They point out every lie this boy ever told--abused children do lie--every day when they say they're "Fine" is a lie. And, the knee-jerk reaction of an abused child is to lie to avoid the abuse.
The stories of abuse brought forth are in all likelihood a fraction of what actually occurred. If his father did all this to him in public, imagine what really happened at home. Abused children rarely "report" their abuse. It is idiotic to think they would--for one thing, this man proved to him that he could not escape: He dragged him back from his mother's funeral!
And, as to the stepsister, which nobody seems to understand, she was part of the abuse--she was paid to rat him out. I'm not blaming her in any way or saying she deserved to die, but in Cody's eyes, it was "them" versus him. She was part of "them".
Of course he wasn't rationalizing his actions, he was solving a problem the only way he knew how to solve it. He was raised with brutality and violence. His lawyer was right when he said Cody was a Prisoner of War. That's exactly what it's like, and to expect rational behavior is just silly. He has no idea what rational looks like!
Those shrinks saying he was a borderline psychopath or however they categorized it--the kid was raised in a pyschopath training camp!
It is tragic that this happened and I'm not very often on the side of the defendant in murder trials, but I'd vote for acquittal and hopefully he will find a good home and some good therapy.

Hey Deborah,
Cody Posy, has a world of support. It extends across the 4 corners.
The child was tortured to say the least. I agree with every point you made.
His father and stepmother, cursed him beyond cruelty with their 4 letter words. Just to hear those words ripped thru my heart. Oh My!
The physical acts of violence - unbelievable! "Paul connected a hay hook to Cody's private genitalia and scrotum." He threaten to rip it off.
Worked him in 102 degree weather and sun, all day long. And, wouldn't give him water. The ranch hands had to sneak it to him.
There was much abuse. But, there's one thing for sure & there is no doubt in my mind. Delbert Paul Posey hated his son.
And, I bet living with his stepsister was like walking on egg shells. The psychological torture. The power she dangled over him.
Cody Pody is a Pandora's Box. If we ever find the key to really unlock all those hidden & buried deeply secrets, that went on at the Sam Donaldson ranch...
Thanks for stopping in.
Have A Great Day!

Just checking in...
Court TV has been focusing on the highlights of Cody's trial.
They've spoken with several of the alternate jurors. From their personal viewpoints - they are torn between voluntary manslaughter and acquittal.
Everybody is in agreement, that Cody Posey needs Intensive Therapy.
There was other evidence of Incest, which the Judge would not allow to be introduced.
The Jury was not privy to the knowledge, that Cody's Grandmother had shot and killed her husband, due to his physical and mental abuse. Then, killed herself.
Delbert Paul Posey, was probably repeating a vicious cycle, that he himself had grown up in.
Well, that's it for now. I'll keep you posted.

Geez! I just read that he was convicted of murder for the stepmother & stepsister & voluntary manslaughter for his dad.
Wonder when sentencing will be? I think the judge can decide whether to sentence him as an adult or as a child.
