Hi...I have recently got interested in beading and so far I have made a few easy necklaces for my 3 yr old neice and my granddaughter. Seems like I end up buying more beads than anything else! I need to get busy using them!

Is anyone working on anything right now? I have been so sick with a sinus infection so I have been thumbing through my books and magazines. My problem is too many things to chose from and not enough time!

I know the feeling of too many projects and not enough time (or money). A recent magazine had instructions for a gorgeous necklace featuring Botswana agate, which is my favorite next to Montana agate. I imediately started searching for the beads and found six beautiful beads on ebay, promptly purchased. I now have them laid out on y bead board and am searching for just the right silver beads to go with them. Things get bought as a little extra money turns up, so it takes me a while. And the final design will not be exactly as the magazine, but will be what I want. the books and magazines provide so much inspiration. And I love surfing the beading websites. The best ones go into my favorites folder! Which is getting rather long.

Happy beading. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hi... I used to bead all the time as a kid, and I have gotten into it again over the last year or two. I really like the more ethnic looking beads: Mexican and African style turquoise and brown beads. Are there any great web sites that offer good selection and discount prices of this style?

I'm glad the beading forum is here!

Hi fellow beaders,
After beading for awhile, and trying my hand at eBay and various avenues of selling, I created my own web page.
What do you think?

How was your business at Ebay? From my experience it's very hard to sell beaded jewelry on Ebay. Your items are nice. By the way are you interested in professional web design?

I went to many garage sales this summer and found a lot of vintage costume jewelry to take apart and bead with...now I just need to get in that creative mode!

Hi I'm new to the forum. What a great site.
It looks like this will be a fun place to talk about beads and beadwork.
