Hi Nancy, that is a very good high altitude satelite photo, very clear and precise. I see you have an excellent harbour area depected by color water depth. Would by chance you guys live near the harbor?

How on this earth were you and your family able to meet? What a wonderfull thing to happen, to locate family in Poland!! And then to spend many wonderful hours catching up. What a blessing!

Now, you have an excellent reason to learn Polish and they, to learn American English, now, would this not be a blessing for all? I am very happy Nancy for you.

Thank you for also the Genealogy at Polish Culture site. Interesting! Of course I will check through it, I do not get bored, short of time on occasion. As if I need the time, being retired gives a person instant status in poverty and becoming so busy at doing nothing. Who knows, perhaps I would have a suprise finding, who knows with our world the way it is, after so many darn wars and frontier (boarder) changes through time and circumsatnces.

I noticed the strawberry and flowers, that was a very nice touch. You both are very artistic and creative. Thank you...

A quicky. Thank you for your kind words and the wee poem. I have a poem that is not too long - another time - but the relevant part states that 'Remember the clock is only wound once' = Carpe Diem = Live for the day.

Chris, let me clarifie that. I re-read what I wrote and it is misleading, very sorry to give the empression. I was under their programmes in a time that law-enforcement was being over hauled and upgraded. As a young man, I was silly enough to sign the dotted line as a seven year contract for free education and training. Every agency there after I worked for, were required by this contract to provide access to all available training and schools sponsered or not by the FBI. There were a few of us under the local agent in charge of law enforcement education. This in turn was directly sponsered by Mr. Hoover.

The times were different then, in as much as the needs and requirements of the country. Mr. Hoover was fearfull of a nuclear exchange that would endanger and destroy all civil control and administration of the nation. We were his little dutch boys, so to speak, to plug up this hole and keep the water back. We were to put inplace under his central control, active law enforcement units complete with records, investigation and civil control. This would only stay in place under centol control untill local civil authority was restored.

Of course this was not the case as time has proven, but, it was in place in case. The communication system is still operational, but no longer needed as the satilite systems have long since proven more reliable.

I only placed this as an explanation, I know and realize, you as a military person of responsiblity, would read between the lines and know the rest of the story.

Yes, on the high heels, I tread very lightly on that. The man was critized for many things, and of course he was human with related weaknesses. But, his teaching and control were not critized. Assess, adapt, over come and create. The man and his programmes saved my lousy life on some occasions. Also, shook out the most of my stubburness and irritating ignorance to creat civilization into my head.

So, as you see, as a moral person, I must tread very lightly on this subject, but, our private thoughts are our own.

Sorry Chris for this lengthy essa. I do trust it did clear up any misconceptions. It was my fault through unclear communication.

No misconceptions here only confirmed suspicions. My husband is in the Signal Corp. ( I have no idea why I am talking about him so much - I normally do not mention him - guess I miss him)
I was pulling your chain with the high heels - I didn't expect you to say anything.
I am old enough to remember the old "duck and cover" exercises we had in school - for you youngsters out there - The Duck and Cover was a drill we went through in case of nuclear attack. We were directed to get under our desks on your hands and knees and put your hands over your head. This did nothing to make you feel any safer or assured that you would be safe.

Thanks for your past service in those years.

Dear Chris,

Now, Now, no book and never again. Fortunatly, we live only one life, I (speaking for my self) would not want to relive it or the risks. As a person, I was suprised at blabbering about it. Only the good stuff, the bad stuff and other, is best to lay buried and gone.

So, your husband is in the signal corp. That would be a good occupation to be in while in the military. He most likly is on your mind because you miss him. I can well understand that, but, think how nice it is when he is home and you both have each other to make up for the lost time..

It is good, when love is strong enough to over come distance and time, then you know that you were correct when first you both met.

I was never able to talk with my wife of my work. This in turn created a golf between us and in turn gave cause for the eventual divorce that followed. This plus long absences from home. It was the price of career choice. Thank fully you both have over come that obstacle.
