Hi Beck! I had to giggle, the whole 'lost in bella' thing is too cute! But it gave me a good idea: i'm going to start a thread with links to each thing on the site. Now no one will have to get lost!
Also, you can click on my signature link under each of my posts for access to the fish shop. it's still under construction - the subcategories are going to each have their own pages, plus there will be more categories, like awesome gifts for fish nuts, poster art, photography, etc.

Hey Jilly, Found a 7.5 Watt aquarium heater called the "Junior Mini Heater". Could be a handy item for your fish shop that many betta enthusiasts would be interested in. It is made to be used in 2-5 gallon tanks. On one site it even had a thermometer included for only a dollar more. Emg2

Jilly,
Well, as far as that little heater goes. Right now I have it in my bucket of reserve water that is treated with conditioner, salt and ph down...that I use for water changes. It's a 2 gallon mop bucket which I picked up at Stop and Shop for just this purpose.
So far I don't notice it doing a whole lot for the water temp but it's hard to say as I don't have a thermometer in there right now. I have 3 and they are all being used in the tanks. I also don't have a bubbler in the bucket to help move the water around. I think that would probably help alot.

Yes, a mop bucket is what i use too. I have written on it with permanent pen: aquarium use only! and told my husband never to use soap in it.
An airstone would keep your water from stratifying, but if you just stir it before adding to fish tanks, you won't have to worry about that!
