Halloween. I almost forgot about Halloween. Honestly I friend of mine sent me a Halloween Site: creepycrossword.com and then I said...oh cute...oh huh..Halloween, what am I going to wear. I have an old Bridesmaid dress I could turn into a princess costume.

My twins are going to be so cute.

One of them is going to be a firefighter like his daddy and the other is going to be a dalmation puppy...we went with a theme, but made sure they were different. They are two so it will be fun this year! I cant wait til next year when I have a little girl to dress up as well.

My hubby and I are going to a Halloween party and we are going to be a milkwoman and a cow..LOL

I found a tailed tuxedo jacket that fit me when thrifting, and that thing can be turned into a costume in about five minutes with just a few accessories. Suggestions might incude funky wig, a half mask, Mardi Gras beads, a wacky bowtie, your best "Elton John" sunglasses, ugly 70s tuxedo shirts, and the list just goes on.

I like it best with a purple wig and matching high-top sneakers.

I made the cutest costume for my daughter 3 years ago. I was in love with Anne Geddes babies, so that was the inspiration. After I made it there was an article in the newspaper about it, and then instructions. I bought a huge flower pot and cut the bottom off of it. I put her in the middle of the flower pot, and attached a pair of my step dad's suspenders to the pot with screws. The pointed side out of course, didn't want to scratch the little one. I took a sturdy sheet of foam, cut a hole in the center of it big enough for the little one, covered it in green felt and hot glued it just above the suspenders. I then pulled the suspenders through the hole in the foam that is now glued to the inside of the flower pot. I slipped the pot over my daughter's head, tightened the suspenders up over her shoulders, and added a green hoodie. I made flower petals for the hood of the sweatshirt and affixed them with a needle and thread. Then tied the hood under her chin and I have my very own Anne Geddes baby sunflower. She was so cute. I also attached a sunflower and a couple of leaves to the flower pot to cover the screws from the suspenders, added some gardening gloves, and a little green satin inchworm. All of which I affixed with hot glue. I then made her a trick or treat pail out of a smaller green flower pot that I drilled to holes in and attached jute to make a handle. It was so cute. As soon as I find the pics, I will attach them.

ok, i;m actually a guy, buy i had to share what my little brother and my costume was last year.
i put him on my sholders and then had mim wear a shirt that was way too big for him and covered up his head(his face was still showing though) my head stuck out the front of the shirt but only my head so it looked like i was about 7 feet tall with really small arms and was carrying my own head around.

the year before that i put him in my shirt and cut a hole in it for his head to stick out so we looked like a fat guy with two heads. ther was mine and a smaller one sticking out of my chest.

he'll be 9 in january btw.

this year he's 300 miles away (i'm in college) so i'm just going to go as a pregnant guy. my mom sent me a picture, he's going as a vampire. a really cute vampire i might add.

I know it is late but I wanted to share.
I always have themed halloween parties at my house. This year it was Comic Books and Comic Strip characters, no Cartoon characters.

I was Wonderwoman and Hubby was a 1930's Gangster. Joining us was ARchie & Betty, Rose's Rose (3 of them), Broomhilda, Batman of course, Prince Valiant & his sidekick (forgot the name), Dilbert's boss, Mickey mouse (yes mickey had a comic strip back in the early 30's) the Zits.
It was fun, we took pics in front of a white wall and added our own speak bubbles. Had a foostable set up to be superheros against villians. And the food was Whimpy cheeseburgers, Dagwood Sandwiches and Garfield Lasagne.

If all the world's a stage, why am I always in the green room.

mmmmm....sounds like fun! Sounds like good eats too! I tried to have a Halloween party for my daughter and her friends one year, but none of them dressed up--they all chickened out at the last minute, and they wouldn't eat much food because it was all weird looking (green things, eyeball ice, you know....)
