I think what rdyweur was saying is that when the Mexicans come to the US the Gov hear has bent over backwards to have most of the information in Spanish and English. I think if you come here you should learn English. When I go to Mexico they want me to speak Spanish. So why the favoritism, just because we have 10M illegals from Mexico.

In one way I agree, but if nobody is going to understand the 10m illegals, and they cannot understand what they are being told to do, it is going to be chaos. But the crux is that if they are to stay in the country they should learn to speak the language or be sent back from whence they came. With the immigrant Asians in the UK, they (legal or illegal) are learning English because they know they will not survive otherwise.

Thank you Kuba, That is exactly what I meant. And it is not right that our goverment chooses one nationality over another. Where is the equality and justice in this practice.

I agree the legals should learn the language. The illegals should not be here. But they are and we are giving them health care, schooling etc. for free. i.e our tax money.
They don't even try to become citizens. They have children here because now they are tied to the US with a native US Citizen. Driving around town now many billboards are now int Spanish to apease them. The Polls have translators for them.

Bottem line is we need to stop the flow of illegals. The millitants can just stroll across the boarder with water and food supplied by the Mexican authorities.

On a Polish note. The Polish can't even get a visa to visit the US. The non-refundable cost is $120US. So all countries are not treated equal.

This being political I would say harass your representatives until they make it a legal condition of staying in the States that they learn to speak American. A bit draconian, but with the numbers we are talking about it will only be draconian measures that resolve the issue for American citizens.
