Being 21 makes me a child? Please, I am only legal worldwide. And if I am so unintelligent, why do I attend university?
As for your question, where did I come up with a line like fucktrophy? On a few charming little childfree sites.
Just for the record-I am not a fence sitter. I just happen not to dislike kids and parents overall. The bad parents yeah, but not someone for simply choosing to have kids.
You don't like that Keith? Too damn bad. The door is right over there, don't let it hit you in your narrow-minded, self righteous [censored] on your way out.

Thanks for the clarification, Happy Guy! When I go off on my rants about parents, I am mainly talking about the bad ones.

I didn't realize I would be causing quite this amount of "debate"!
I like to look on here sometimes because there are times that I do miss the "freedom" of no kids. It's hard to "pick up and go". And I have seen how hurt people on this board are that others keep trying to convince them that they are "wrong" for choosing this path. I have tried to be at least one "parent" voice that is supportive of the child-free choice. It is not for everyone.
But when I said it was a mistake - I did not mean my children, I meant leaving college at 19 to marry, and giving up a lot of my chances. I will go back to school one day, but now I have to put my children first, so I wait. Unfortunately last night when I wrote that post, I was hurt and angry, and did not take the time I should have to compose my thoughts before writing. I wrote everything that was on my mind, w/out any "social" or emotional censoring.
I appreciate those of you who stood up for me on here. As for "Dr. Keith", I hope you are much better at hiding your "superiority complex" from the people you counsel than you are here on this board!
Michelle Taylor Why me? What did I do to deserve this? (go on, ask)

Well, at first I thought Dr. Keith was going to be an interesting addition to the boards. Now I see he's just an [censored]. Oh well. Just goes to show you can never trust first impressions.

Dr Keith where were you when I was in therapy a few years ago? I went to a guy and when I told him DH was thinking about getting snipped he freaked out! He said we're too young to decide that and not to worry about it right now!
I know how you feel. I was telling my DH a few days ago that I wish there was a CF Dr locally. I hate going in for something only to get bombarded by sick kids. And going anywhere else is just as bad! At Barnes and Noble yesterday I was quietly sipping my coffee and looking through books to hear an ear peircingly loud scream. A horrid child yelling like she got stabed because mummy-dearest wouldn't buy her a book. Guess who got the book after that? We grabbed our books and left. At the grocery store you get kids yelling and complaining. I hear stories about couples going to bars only to be told not to smoke because a lady coming in every night is pregnant. Other couples who have dealt with kids in bars, in high end restaraunts etc... Is it too much to ask for people to hire a babysitter when dining on $25 a plate food?

I must agree, I think Dr Keith is very insightful. I felt like I was listening in on a much needed therapy session. It is funny how some people turn to profanity when they are at a loss for words. Not trying to offend anyone.. just an observation.

Actually, I wasn't at a loss for words. My word fit exactly how I felt about the way he responded to musicalmom.

Actually Bell I wasn't talking about you. I was referring to the argument between Stacey and the Dr.

I also thought Dr. Keith was extremely insightful. He reminds me of Dr. Phil....people don't always want to hear what he has to say but he gives it to you straight! I hope Dr. Keith hasn't disappeared forever after that discussion.
