I was not generalizing. I was being specific to CHILD WORSHIPPERS. not every parent is a child worshipper, altho it seems to be more common in some places than others. When a person gets married the quote is usually something about becoming 'one flesh' with your spouse. NOT WITH YOUR CHILD. Religious people usually defer to their diety as the most important relationship in their lives even above their spouse if it comes to that. Too many people put children in the place where their deity or their spouse belong in their affections. It is apples and oranges. Children should be loved in their own special way. It is not fair or healthy to give them less than they deserve and the same goes for giving them what does not belong to them. People who blur the lines are who I call child worshippers. You can usually identify them by the irrational, and totally emotional response they have toward people who choose to remain CF.

And people who give way to much attention to their children usually have very bratty children. That should teach them not to shower their kid's with everything they want. But usually they do the same to the next child.
