I am so out of it. I haven't seen a single movie on the list. The only one I really wanted to see at the movies was Star Wars. One thing after another and we missed it. I really wanted to see it on the big screen.

I guess with all that dross to chose from if I am compelled I would have to go with STAR WARS and trust me that is "damning with faint praise".

I saw WAR OF THE WORLDS and found it much more entertaining that I had anticipated; you may feel free to reinsert the faint praise quote here as well...

Actually I preferred CONSTANTINE to the other choices eventhough it was not on your list.

I liked Monster in Law the best and in second place was a tie for me between Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Madagascar.

Since I didn't get a chance to see any. I'll tell you the ones I want to watch on video:

Monster-In-Law
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Batman Begins
War of the Worlds

In no particular order. But I think I'd like to see Batman Begins first. I really like Christian Bale. Just saw him in THE MACHINIST. Strange movie but in the end it's satisfying in the sense it feels complete. Bale lost so much weight for this movie apparently going down to 120lbs. For Batman he bulked up to 225lbs.

I think I see too many movies to ever make a coherent decision.

I did see 4 of the 10 from that article: Mr & Mrs. Smith, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Batman Begins, and SW: RotS. I think M&M Smith had more hype than substance, it was ok, but not great. The other three I was very happy with.

Rae if that is you on the Avatar, its very cool!

M&M Smith was just fun, if you didnt take it seriously, it was just fun, Batman~I liked it better than I thought but I am not totally into batman. Charlie... His purple rubber gloves squicked me out.. But I dig Depp, The over use of Deep Roy was kinda weird too.

We actually have a theater here that shows the movies that have left the regular theaters after they've been out for a while. I'm hoping to catch "Mr and Mrs Smith" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" there. So many movies...so little time to see them all.

Moe, was the "Machinist" any good? I've read the back of the DVD at the store but haven't taken a copy home yet.
