Oh, Emg, do you compress your photos? I bet that would solve it.

I only just figured out how to do thumbnail links Jilly...when I get time I'll go back and change those pics. Maybe the reason this thread hasn't been getting many posts is because it has been taking too long to load for some.

Nice pics Svet ! Thanks for sharing...love checking out other folk's tanks and fish !

As far as posting pics goes....Jilly, do you think there could be a sticky somewhere about how to do that ?

I will say for starters that in order to post pics here you need to have a site to host them. Photobucket, Imageshack, Picture Trail...are all good sites to host your pics...and they don't cost anything to use. You do need a digital camera or a scanner to scan regular pics on in order to upload them to these sites.

When you get your pics loaded onto a host site, like photobucket...you copy the url address onto your post with I left a space after each part so that it would show up for you in this post, but you wouldn't have spaces between the boxes and the URL...

Read the directions at photobucket, their way is a bit more complicated...lol...but once you figure it out at thier end it's easy to post them here.

If you have a photobucket account...one of the choices you have when you are making a URL for your pic....is the thumbnail. You click "copy" on that choice and go to your HTML practice page and copy and paste the address to the site you where you want it.

Directions at photobucket should help you out...

I like the thumbnails you posted on another thread. Good idea. I don't know how many people are still on dail-up, but I know that makes a difference.

Svetlana, those are gorgeous pictures!!!! I like the closeup with the flaring. I'd like to use that one in the betta ebook co,ing out soon, if I can get permission.

I would say to everyone, use thumbnails if you know how, but just post your pics as are if you are not good at resizing. We will probably all get up to speed at pictures and graphics eventually.

Yeah, the thumbnails are one of the perks when you have a photobucket account. It's pretty simple to do once you figure it out.

Here's a few more pics of my rams that I took just last night. They were spawning and have layed a batch of eggs on one of the rocks. I just love these little fish !

I like the page. Hope we see more pics. Mine loads right up, too. Have DSL so no problems here. [imageBellaOnline ALERT: Raw URLs are not allowed in these forums for security reasons. Please use UBB code. If you don't know how to do UBB code just post here for help - we will help out!

Beautiful betta BF !!

Here's some pics of my latest "AquaSitions" They are lamprologus Stappersi...a shelldwelling species from lake tanganjika. These pics do NOT do them justice..lol...they are gorgeous ! All those dots on their bodies are irridescent and give them a pearly appearance.

I traded in my Brevis shelldwellers for these beauties. I didn't have room to set up another tank...lol...and the brevis weren't the most interesting fish that I had..pretty as they are, they just don't DO much ! When I visited a new lfs in my area (WONDERFUL store !!) and saw THESE there....just had to have some...lol. I had seen pics of them online and was hoping to find some around here.

Here's my betta, Moe. That picture was taken last week, when he was still in a goldfish bowl.
