Hey...It's cool, Freebubbles....Don't sweat it - one thing I know about women on this board is that we have a good sense of humour...especially about men. And men do leave themselves wide open to it, at times - !!

Chill - no problems as far as I am concerned - !!

I hope no one minds me jumping in on this topic, but I wanted to say that our sex life actually got better after having children. We always had a terrific sex life, very passionate, and I don't know why it seemed to somehow get even better. I think it had something to do with we felt so much closer after having children together. We have always been close, but our marriage in total just got better and continues to do so, post-children. I would go so far as saying our SL is better than decent.

I also wanted to point out a myth that I saw someone here post - it's never the same "for obvious reasons." I beg to differ (and my DH would as well), and I would just add that there are 'little things' the docs can do before you leave the hospital, or even later, to correct that or even make it better than "it" was before.

I had looked into it pre-children/while pregnant because all of my single friends (and childfree) used to say "It's never EVER the same 'down there,' which, of course, worried me a LOT because we had great sex and I didn't want it to be ruined. So I read all I could both before kids and while pregnant, and it turns out, I didn't need to worry, even after having two children. Of course, I didn't have any tearing or cutting either, so that very well could make a difference - I don't know.

Well, for those who don't want to go that route, I suppose there are always the dreaded kegel exercises...lol.

I actually think there is hope for others out there! I think it's sad that people's sex lives are ruined post-children. It really doesn't have to be that way.
