So, I slept with a black tourmaline in my hand last night and you know what? I had the best most restful sleep ever!
Not that it stayed in my hand all night, but when I awoke this morning it was underneath me. But I swear it was an awesome night of sleep I felt great this morning compared to msot mornings where I am soooo exhausted I cant get out of bed!
Thansk for the advice!

So pleased it worked for you <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Keep it cleansed by holding it under cold running water every now and again.

And what about 'charging it'?
And if it is attracting or removing all the negativity shouldnt I be releasing it to the earth at some point?

Holding the tourmaline under cold running water will release any negativity it has collected. You can charge it it too, sunlight is good for this. If you really want to go to town you can also programme the cleansed, charged stone. Sit quietly with the stone in your hand. Focus on your intention that it protects you from negativity and breathe your intention into the stone. You will feel when the programme has 'taken'.

Stones can do their job pretty well without charging and programming, they work according to their nature. That's why I just get people to cleanse in general, but by taking the extra steps they can work in a more focussed and effective way.
