I only submit to magazines, ezines and publishers (or at least my agent submits to the publishers for me).

Yes, one novel and around thirty short stories published so far. Finding time to write is the most difficult thing (after trying to sell what I write, of course).

LOL. Myself, I prefer limited noises while surfing a site so I think you're on the right track. I was at an annoying one yesterday that made a plopping noise every time you clicked on something. I think noises can be amusing to visitors if not abused.
I know what you mean about the time thing.
