It warms me that so much of the ritual of the church is from the Celts. Just as I recognized so much of what I truly believe when I read Llywelen's "Druid," I have become ever more aware of how much of what the church teaches is really universal. Of course, I wouldn't have minded if it had been decided that it should have been called the "Holy Celtic, Catholic, and Apostolic Church."
It almost makes up for the fact that there has never been an Irish pope. What's up with that????? No worthy candidates? Or politics? I really wonder about that. It doesn't seem fair or even likely for that matter.
I'll go look for Hart and Deere.
Watched "The Boys and Girl from County Clare" last night. Oh, it was good fun! There was even some very good uilleann pipe humor in it.
Summer's nearly over and I'll be back among the energetic.
