It is very cold here in Idaho, today is the first half-sunny day this week. Two days ago we were going through the Teton pass - coming home from Jackson Hole Wyoming. In Jackson it was snowing but at least the snow did not stick to the ground but on the pass... we had to drive in a snow, quite scary.

In Europe is also unusually cold, there was a snow in Austria and Bosnia yesterday.

Regular summer in Szczecin (almost summer actually). Sunny days and warm mixed with rainy and cold ones. I still didn't figure out how to dress; but it is green already everywhere and rose bush infront of my balcony is starting to bloom.
Now it's close to midnight and cold!

For 2 weeks now, we've had weather at about 80 Fahrenheit to 90 Fahrenheit. (usually high 20 Celsius to 32 Celsius) There's also been some humidity.

Yes - we went from cold winter to hot summer - GRRRR. I have heard that there is unusual sunspot activity just now (no, I am not kidding) and also volcanic activity. Probably playing havoc with the weather as well as everyone's nerves.

Warszawa reporting. It seems we've already had summer this year with around 30 degrees Celcius - some 10 days ago it came to an end and now we have 15-20 degrees and heavy showers.

We almost had an official heat wave here in New England. To date we have had 3 days at 90 or above. Not concurrently though.

Just a short while ago, I was reading that the natural cold water pump for the Gulf Stream is failing. Down to about 40% of its total. If this continues it will have some startling consequences for England and Europe, not to mention North America.

As with raytan, the weather in the eastern part of England has been excellent - summer has arrived, but all the threats are that it will disappear in a few days time! Anybody know what it is like in Krakow and what the prospects are for 2 weeks' time?
