Do write your goals down. Write down items that you need and will have to use. What items will be necessary for you to have a business, work at home job and or work from home job?

How will you advertise? Do you have funds to advertise? Ways you can create funds to advertise.

If you are working on a small budget or limited fund budget it would be a good idea to look at freebies. I used freebies and they helped me at one time.

I did not say depend on them, but they could be a help when funds are limited and if you have no funds at the time.

Hi Angela,

I've always been one to write goals down and be really clear on them.

I find that they are accomplished in 1/2 time that way <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

okay here goes. I need some feed back. I am at a impass here as to where to go next. I started a breeding kennel which actually is coming along very well. My website is www.ohiobulldogs.com my dogs are selling. I have become a sanctuary as well taking in rescues. My problems is due to a divorce that destroyed my credit I can't seem to buy a home to further kick this off the ground. Is there any kind of help out there with business owners that need help. I actually only need help with buying a home. Any suggestions. thank you

Hmm, I don't know much about this. Congrats on founding your business. Is it possible to get funds from the Small Business Associaton for kennel space? Would that make it easier to have funds to buy a home?

Talk to a mortgage company. They will tell you what you need to do to get your credit in shape enough to buy a home. Another option might be to look for a lease-purchase that would fit your needs.

Business lenders are going to look at your business plan, and business credit (which is essentially the same as yours if you are a sole proprietor). And, they make loans for businesses, not homes, per se, so the kennel space loan idea from Fashion Fiend might be a good idea.

There are many grant programs around, so a search for animal-related business grants might turn something up, but again, I doubt it will cover buying a personal home.

One other option is to find a partner who could help you--perhaps a vet or animal lover in your area might know of a house you could buy where the owner would finance it, bypassing the lending institutions.

Good Luck!

I have a Zig Ziglar performance planner that I found really helpful in setting goals and also for tracking progress... you can find it at his website.

Where does everyone else keep their goals?

Hi everyone

Without doubt, writing down your goal is one of several requirements, that is paramount to successful achievement. You also need to be very clear about your personal values - i.e. those things you hold dear. Unless you're clear about these, you'll end up either setting the wrong goal or setting a goal that isn't really yours but belong to someone else.

I have found journaling and writing many things down helps clarify alot of thoughts, habits and keeps me on track for what I want to achieve - meanings goals and dreams I have.

I wrote goals and things down in years past, but never took it seriously until this year, when I started journaling daily and visually seeing areas of my life changing - it was amazing. Now, I truly believe in writing down goals and dreams, not to mention tracking your progress, as it will change your life!!

Thanks Festival, I will peek at those forms.

Yes, i think Writing down our Goals is SO important.

I learned this 'art' in a seminar years ago and ever since then it has became a habit. And I can say that the goals I wrote down- i really achieved them!

And recently, I found something thats really cool The Secret.

Everything that comes into our life comes through the law of attraction

You know, understanding the law of attraction and we can start attracting good things, health, and people, into our lives or bad!!

I am beginning to endeavour onto a journey of attracting all these good things we deserve in life (writing... and start attracting)

It has helped me.
And I wish the same for you

I too have been studying the Law of Attraction and I think the act of writing down our goals, does help us to achieve them. When you write down what you desire, whether it's about health, money, an exercise plan, where you want to be in 5 years, you bring focus and energy to it by writing it down.

I bought a 70 cent spiral notebook and have a page with all my goals and then a page for each goal where I detail it. I look through it every day to keep it freshly in mind.

Almost every life coach other there, whether they are Law of attraction or self-improvement gurus advocate writing down goals. It's also good, when you go over your list, to visualize it coming into your life and put energy and focus to it.

If one of your goals seems impossible to you, you could think of steps toward that goal and write those down and focus on each step at a time-steps you CAN believe you will achieve.

Belief in the outcome is very important.

I used to not do that but there's so much things in my head that I have to but it's not helping me as far as doing these things or finishing it if it's started.

I absolutely write down my long term goals, my short term goals, and then I write a daily to-do list. It keeps me on track with all the things I'm juggling.
