I liked kids when I was one - they've lost their appeal since then.
Mother always said that even when things seem bad there's someone else who's having a worse day. Like being stung by a bee or getting a splinter or being chained to the wall in someone's sex dungeon.

I know what you mean! One of the women I work with was telling me about chaperoning her kid's field trip and I told her about some of my field trip escapades....like the time our high school dance squad and the band traveled out of state to be in a parade. The chaperones stood guard outside our hotel room doors....so we just escaped out the windows. We were all running amuck in downtown Portland all night, looking for trouble. It made me think, "I would hate to have me as a kid...." Luckily I was accomplished at not getting caught and my parents remain blissfully unaware of some of my best adventures....

If motherhood doesn't interest you, don't do it. It didn't interest me, so I didn't do it. Anyway, I would have made a terrible parent. The first time my child didn't do what I wanted, I'd kill him."

I like kids but not enough to have my own. I like older kids (over 8) more than younger ones.
I just can't deal with babies.
