The translation of "A Doll House" vs. "A Doll's House" is a tricky one, it can be and has been translated both ways. Sort of like "L'Etranger", by Camus. In French, tranger means both "stranger" and "estranged one", how can you translate a double-entendre like that into English? It just doesn't work. Most translators have called it "The Stranger", but some have also called it "The Outsider". If I were the translator, I would simply call it "Stranger", to give it that same feel of double-meaning. That was the worst example ever, though, because "L'Etranger" is the exact OPPOSITE of women's literature. It's totally a guy thing.

By the by, if you liked "The Doll's House", you should read "The Awakening" by Kate Chopin. Or anything by Kate Chopin, for that matter. She is not totally forgotten, but left out of a lot of American women's literature references, even though she was a total pioneer.
