Hey, Raleigh, I found these on the web - they may be the eagle toasts you talked about-
Said the senator from Illinois:
"Here's to the American eagle, A great and glorious bird, That in Ohio - dropped a terd."

Answered the senator from Ohio:
"Here's to the state of Ohio, Who's soil is fertile and rich, Which needs no terd from your old bird, You red-headed son-of-a-b_tch!"

The delegate from Iowa replied:
"Here's to the State of Iowa, Whose soil is exceedingly rich: It needs no terd from a bald-headed bird, Or a red-headed son of a b_tch."

At a gathering of US governors, the New Yorker stood up and made a toast:
"Here's to the American Eagle...with wings so mighty and great...he flies up high, way in the sky...and sh--s on the Lone Star State."

Then it came the Texan's turn to toast:
"Here's to the State of Texas...with land so fertile and rich...we don't need no terds from your high flyin' birds...you yankee son-uv-a-b_tch."

Three more for the holidays:

Here's to a friend, he knows you well...
And likes you just the same!
************
Here's to your health!
You make age curious,
Time furious,
And the rest of us envious!
************
Here's to every man here,
May he be what he thinks himself to be.

Or remember
What is best forgotten.
_____
A very Merry Xmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

Here's to the bright New Year
And a fond farewell to the old;

May you have warm words on a cold evening,
A full moon on a dark night,
And the road downhill all the way to your door.
_______

Here's to the four hinges of society.
May you fight, steal, lie and drink.
When you fight, may you fight for your country.
When you steal, may you steal away from bad company.
When you lie, may you lie at the side of your sweetheart.
And when you drink, may you drink with me.
_______

Here's to our friendship;
May it be reckoned
Long as a lifetime,
Close as a second.
_______

May you have the hindsight to know where you've been, the foresight to know where you are going, and the insight to know when you've gone too far.
_______

As you slide down the banister of life
May the splinters never face the wrong way.
_______

May your troubles be less
And your blessings be more.
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door.
_______

Who is a friend but someone to toast,
Someone to gibe, someone to roast.
My friends are the best friends
Loyal, willing and able.
Now let's get to drinking!
Glasses off the table!
_______

Here's hoping you live forever, and mine is the last voice you hear.

Here's to our wives and girlfriends:
May they never meet!

Here's to you and yours
And to mine and ours.
And if mine and ours
Ever come across to you and yours,
I hope you and yours will do
As much for mine and ours
As mine and ours have done
For you and yours!

The Lord gives our relatives,
Thank God we can choose our friends.
