Two killed in Latvian train crash
Two people are reported to have died, with at least 14 injured, in a train crash in the Latvian capital, Riga.
An empty Moscow to Riga train reversing towards a depot collided with a commuter train on Wednesday, according to the Latvian Delfi news agency.
The front carriage of the first train has been seriously damaged, and its interior is still inaccessible to rescue services.
Three of the injured are said to be in a serious condition.
Latvian agencies report that one of train drivers appears to have gone through red lights.
Twenty ambulances have been rushed to the scene.
Rescuers say there could be more casualties inside the carriage they are having trouble reaching.
Latvian interior and transport ministers are overseeing the rescue operation.
