another great band is Flaw, And 3rd Strike. they seem to have a great local underground here in MN, but yet they are both from Cali

this not metal but there is a dj i recommend. his name is Rob D (for Dougan). he has tracks on all matrix soundtracks. i'm sure everyone who watch matrix knows track 'clubbed 2 death'. thing is though that i can't find any of his albums in music stores <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> bummed

Wow, Thibble --and alphabetized, too?! Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate the time you took to compile a list. (Btw, did you see that I covered Rammstein, Static-X, and few other bands you mentioned? The lead singer of Betrayer, a band I recently covered, said that Edguy was one of his influences--although I haven't heard them myself.)

Is Accept still playing after all these years? I remember their song Balls to the Wall from the 80's! (I'm more into the late 70's and 80's metal, myself--but do like some current offerings out there.)

and of course not to forget NEPENTHE! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> (noone knows it only me prolly <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> since it the band my sisters boyfriend is in but it rocks! heavy metal!)

Want some really really heavy stuff listen to Cradle of Filth. Oh and my personal favorites at the moment Metalica, Mushroomhead, Manson!!!!!!
