Hi all, I've been using baby powder when shooting wax in my rubber molds but find in some molds the wax still sticks, I was wondering what everyone uses as a rubber mold lubricant, thanks

Jack

Hey Jack! I usually brush in some corn starch (esentially the same thing as baby powder) with a dry paintbrush so I get all the cracks and crevices....that seems to work best for me.

I think some people actually use vegetable oil sprays...anyone out there do that successfully?

Hi Jack, i use a silicone base spray and you can get it at your local jewelry supply store or even cheaper at a hardware store. it just takes one small spray and that will be sufficient for at least 10 injections.
