Oh My ! That is a great effect. I will download it and give it a try. Nothing ventured etc. Thanks for your encouragement, Diane. You are obviously an expert in so many fields and willing to experiment with new programmes. This is another photo I took of a sunrise this week...and put a "visitor" in . Called it the Dawn Maker. I just finished this two days ago - I call it Atlantean fall - made mostly in PhotoImpact by Ulead. This is one of my favorite digital programs (besides Photoshop). Oops, I forgot to mention that I did the background landscape in the free Terragen program. http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/
Here is another contribution: a fantasy pix done 4 years ago (boy, time flies!) using Fractal Painter and Paint Shop Pro. It is called Water Fey

Beautiful work, June...so detailed ! I downloaded the Terragen program you mentioned and am having fun with that. Thanks for sharing your pictures and how you made them. I hope you will post others too.
I also am trying to use Fractal Explorer but it really is a mystery to me ! This is how my first attempt with it turned out....

I appreciate your feedback. Ella, your new work is beautiful - it reminds me of the crown chakra opening up, extending into the etheric planes. I downloaded Fractal Explorer after reading the posts here but haven't had time to experiment yet.
Digital art is such fun - I find it both healing and expressive.
My latest offering...combination of PSP7 and Repligator filter again. I had fun doing this one !
I called it.....The Geisha.

Thankyou, June and Jeri, for your kind comments. I hope you will be posting your work again soon. As a novice , I enjoy looking at other works and trying to figure out...how did they do that ?? I've been playing in PSP again today ...called this one..Thistledown.
