Eastern Spadefoot Toad - found in sandy places along the Atlantic Coast from Massachusetts to Florida and west to Texas. They also live down the Ohio River to Missouri and Arkansas. Each back foot has a *spade* on it that helps them dig their burrows. They are active at night, especially after a heavy rain. They stay in their burrows during the day and hibernate in cold norhthern areas.

Red Panda
The Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens) is a shy, long-tailed mammal that lives in cold, high-altitude mountain forests in Nepal, Burma and central China. Also known as the Lesser Panda, it is the size of a house cat. This endangered species is more closely related to raccoons than to Giant Pandas.
