BellaOnline Forums Religion and Spirituality New Age Update On Janet's Condition

Hi Everyone,

This is Janet's husband Ron. She asked if I would give an update for her since she's not physically able to sit at the pc for more than a few moments at a time. Janet had been suffering with exrcruciating lower back pain and it became so intense our chiropractor made a house call last friday night. She couldn't raise herself off the bed so we eventually got her to stand. All along though muscle spasms hit her periodically. We finally had to call an ambulance and they took her to the emergency room.

That night was very taxing on both of us as we ended up spending approx. 11 or so hours there while they tried to pin piont the cause of her pain. After 3 shots of demerol and muscle relxants such as atavan, she was still having enormous pain. The doctor eventually came to the conclusion the problem was a kidney stone passing down the ureter. A 2mm stone had been detected by a cat scan. So she was released Saturday morning just as a winter storm hit our area. I got her settled in at home then headed back out to fill her pain medications at the pharmacy.

Tuesday we went to our chiropractor to rule out any possible misalignment issues of the spine. Janet had still been feeling as though some of her "grabbing" pain felt like a back problem. After examination, the doc. felt sure the recurring pain was indeed kidney stone pain. So after that visit we both beleived we understood the root of the pain. Yesterday I took Janet to the local medical docter. His opinion after examination was that of a possible mechanical problem of the spine such as slipped disc or pinched nerve. So here we are totally confused as to the source of her misery. She has an mri scheduled for this tuesday. By then at least we'll know what's really going on.

She's in quite a bit of discomfort and can't lay down flat, and is on Percocet for some relief.

We appreciate any and all prayers/positve thoughts towards Janet.

I'm so sorry to hear about your pain, Janet. I hope you will find out the exact cause and the remedy soon.
Then I hoope you will be sitting at the computer, reading this for yourself.

I'm so sorry Janet your in so much pain, I know first hand about back pain. Hope they find the root of the pain soon and your back at your computer again...
