Hi all,

My Mom just called me and told me that the doctor's office called, and said they found a blockage in my Dad's heart during a stress test. My Dad doesn't know yet (he's not even home from work), so my Mom will tell him after dinner. Apparently he'll have to get a catherization (which he already said to my Mom that he doesn't want to go through.)

My Mom is very upset, especially since she knows my Dad doesn't handle negative medical news very well (he has COPD).

Please send my Mom and Dad Reiki, healing energy, prayers...whatever you feel led to do. It's much appreciated. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Also, please feel free to post your own prayer requests on this thread so we can uplift one another with energetic support. :love:

You and your parents are in my thoughts, Janet. Maybe, once the knowledge is out in the open, he can take some measure of comfort in knowing that doing *Something* is much more empowering than doing *nothing* and letting bad stuff happen TO you. Action is power and while the knowledge and the fear of what it entails may not be the reality he wants, at the moment and for the immediate future, the ability to make choices that will ultimately help himself get better, has to be better than having others make those decisions for him.

My Dad was a bit upset at first, but then talked to several co-workers and friends who've had the procedure done. That, and the assurance of his doctor, eased his mind.

Sending comforting healing energy to your Dad and Mom and all of your family Janet. I know how scary this can be for all involved but the advances in cardiac medicine are admirable.

Would he be open to visualization? I often counsel people to visualize a brilliant green or soft pink color at the heart region to help the heart chakra balance itself. Will send a nice dose of energy to him anyway as a booster.
