From the Stars and Stripes

In the hunt for roadside bombs, the best technology in the world doesnt stand up against four sets of eyeballs.

Why are you posting this? This is appalling...we have killed so many Iraqi nationals it is not funny. Soldiers ARE in danger in Iraq, period. It is what war is about. There is no making it *better* or *worse*...it is about U.S. imperialist policy and it is just sickening.

Paula. I sure wish I could get one of those vehicles, it would be nice in a traffic jam. I guess its ok to bomb innocent civilians like Clinton and cohorts did in Jugoslavia, we still have troops in there after ten years. Those civilians may be quite a hazard, so we will just kill children and babies in order to save them. Then too, children and babies may be too dangerous so Clinton and cohorts used cruise missles to kill sand Fleas and flys and if that didn't turn out well enough there was always that aspirin factory to destroy.
I would still like to get one of those SUV's for traffic problems. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

If you'll note, this is the Military Families forum. It is something that would be of interest to military families, those with loved ones serving in Iraq.

Oh, I just receive letter from another soldier that I sent books to. He gave example after example of the Iraqis who thank him every day for being there.

Paula. I served 20yrs in the Navy and my son is now in the Air Force. He is attending Post Graduate school in Monteray, CA. My son-in-law is in the Navy and aboard a Destroyer. I read this forum often but only sent in two posts. I would rather save the space for our brave service men/women deployed overseas and their families. I firmly agree with the last answer you posted and support your work.

Did you even read the article? That vehicle is used to clear IED and roadside bombs. These bombs kill innocent civilians, too. And they weren't planted by US soldiers. They were planted by terrorist insurgents who really don't care who they hurt.
