tiflin, some of my names I got out of a novel I love ("The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley) like Igraine, Morgaine, Gwenhwyfar, and Galahad (all are Arthurian names). Others I got from "
Celtic Names of the British Isles", like Seamus, Padraig, Owaine, and Killian. Three have a religious meaning to me... Rhiannon is a Celtic/Welsh Goddess, and Ostara and Lughnasadh are Celtic Sabbats/Holidays. Ostara is the Spring Equinox and Lughnasadh is the first of the Autumn festivals. And Faelynn is a variation of the English name Faylinn, and it means Faery Kingdom.
My husband and I also have Celtic Names. Mine is Niamh ("nee-av") which is Irish, and his is Gwyddion which is Welsh. I love almost everything Celtic, especially the names.
