Glad you had fun. I remember playing Jaws when I was a kid. Things like the firework incident is always funny after you're sure everyone is ok and nothing is really wrong. What team is Bennett going to?

He went to the Carolina Panthers. Sorry, I have been gone for a while. I have been gone for a while because we had a death in the family.

Yeah, everything is fine now. It was my grandfather and he has been sick on and off for a while. It was hard, but he is not in pain anymore.

Yeah, death is weird. It is so sad for everyone left behind, but the person who is gone is no longer in pain. I wrote a poem about that one day. I've got SEVERAL people in my family on the brink of it.

Yeah, I lost my last three grandparents in the last yr. One had Parkinson's and didn't know us. One had a massive heart attack and we were shocked. Then my grandpa was on the brink so many times that we were constantly waiting. He was tough. But this was not a sad thing for my family. It was like a party because he would have wanted us too be happy and enjoy the visits. I had already said goodbye to him last time I was home. I think it was harder on the rest of the extended family because they were not as close to him. If that makes sense?

yeah, that makes sense. A lot of times, people go crazy when someone first dies, but when they calm down and actually look into the situation, they see that it is better all around. But, under certain circumstances, people lose sense. But I am glad that you are ok.

Thanks. So are you ready for football to start? We had football pictures today for the school program. It was hot, so I don't know how the pictures will look. Should be interesting!

I was born ready for football. Lay back and relax on Sunday's and watch a bunch of grown men throw each other around? It doesn't get any better. That's one thing I don't miss about high school. Two a days in 100 degree weather? I like A/C a little too much <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Wow, you have changed since I saw you last week (your new pix). I do have to say that I have never been to a funeral where I laughed so much. It feels almost crazy but I know Grandpa would want us to be happy that he's not suffering any longer. Hey, were can I get some info on starting my kids in motorcross? Is there an editor on here that can tell me where to go? MO
