He was almost tenaciously methodical.
Remember, these writings of his spanned from 1885 to 1847, when he crossed over. The language is flowery at times, even for Victorian times but if nothing else, the man was a very prolific writer. And traveller! Asia and Egypt were his favs but he went all over (based in the UK).

It is too bad his rep is so bad, though I have seen that change on the web over the past 8 years or so. Some of the magick writings are heavy for me,...but much of it is fascinating, eg. his writings on the tarot, the kaballah, yoga, etc. <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
