Kava is in fact banned in Switzerland due to the effect it has on the liver(and yet there is still tylenol(NOT related to kavakava) in almost all medicine cabinets and it is also liver KILLER---oops, I digress)
Valerian does not affect the production or absorbtion of seritonin as do these products which should NEVER be taken with any SSRI: St. John's Wort, Samee, and 5-HTP(my personal choice)It does smell like dog poo but luckily capsules have no odor...

Insomnia (Sleeplessness).
Nervous tension, anxiety.
Headache.
Palpitations without any cause.
Irritable bowel syndrome.
Menstrual cramps.
Mild cases of attention deficit disorder (ADD).
