Karl - I don't think that you were too harsh - Val's reponse was totally out of proportion to what was said.

btw - the UK Independence Party's hostility towards the EU, immigrants and foreigners in general is nothing compared to the venomous hatred that exists between the various personalities and factions within UKIP itself (they spend the vast majority of their time throwing mud at each other). you'll see what I mean if you read the blog....
