As for band tee shirts, try the actual bands web site. They also usually have clearance pages as well as the larger sizes.
Smartly fitted clothes are always the best, circus tents are not.
As for sexy, pick out one feature that you want to highlight bout your bod, like your legs or cleavage (for me its cleave city) and ALWAYS make sure your underwear fits right. I went and bought myself my first victorias bra in may, I'm wondering why I didnt go sooner. Back to my point, you complain about busy prints (gag) etc so make sure that when you go for sexy you pick that one part and focus on it. Otherwise his/her eye will be drawn to where ever else you've exposed skin; making for a haphazard look.
For me, I usually wear a v-neck shirtwith longish pants or a short skirt with a modest top. It's like the rule bout necklaces and earrings. One or the other.

Hi Wendy! Thank you for the suggestion, although I have tried the actual websites of the bands before, and so far I haven't seen any type of plus size clothing. I listen to a huge variety of music, but most of it appeals to a younger-teenage type audience and I think that's why I can't necessarily find anything Plus Sized..but I'm going to continue to look!!

I came across a nice web site for Goth/Romantic clothing, and the smallest size this woman makes is a 14. Smaller than that and she says you'll just have to shop elsewhere.... Now there's a woman who can have my business!

Just don't forget, Ladies, that you need to wear properly fitting underwear to make your clothing look right.

No matter what your size, wearing badly fitting bras and panties will make you look a mess.

There are a lot of online sites that have some really nice (and incredibly sexy) plus-size bras and knickers.

As for me - I love a nice tailored suit (skirt, not pants. I never wear pants - they just don't look good on me). And heels. Love heels.

You're best to find a style you like online and then look at their size charts and measurements. Most will provide this information clearly along with other sizing information to help you out. Generally you need to measure the waist, the hips, and the inner leg length. Then you get into the whole different cuts etc which changes the fit too.

Lane Bryant has introduced their "Right Fit" jeans for three different body types. They've narrowed it down to Straight, Moderately Curvy and Curvy. They have an interactive chart that you can enter your waist size then your hip size and it will tell you which of their jeans will fit you the best. Unfortunately, every retailer has their own system. Once you do find a pair you like/love make sure to go back and buy a pair or two more to stuff in your closet for down the road. Styles, cuts, brands don't stay around as long as we like them and you'll have to start the process all over again when you need a new pair.
