I am looking for opinions about reverse navel rings. I have found some rather unique and fashionable reverse navel rings but have a major question. Wouldn't you be more apt to reject or have migration from wearing a reverse since the heavier part is at the top? Gravity does seem to have a mysterious downward pull on us. If you have worn this type I would appreciate any insight as to my question.

One thing to consider is how the tissue at the bottom of your navel differs from the top. Myself, I didn't have much of a navel flap to pierce through, and I can tell that to try and heal a piercing below my navel would just be even more difficult. If you have very elastic skin, it might make it easier.

anyone out there with a reverse navel who can comment further?

I guess I was a little confusing as to my question. I wanted to know opinions about belly rings that the charm or heavier part comes from the top. ( the usual charms dangel from the bottom) Maybe I am mistaken by asking about reverse navel rings. Not navel piercings at the bottom of the navel. Any replys are helpful though :music:

A reverse navel piercing is usually one where the ring is pierced at the bottom of the navel instead of the top.

If you want to wear a charm or dangle from the top of your navel jewelry, go right ahead. If it's well-healed, it shouldn't be a problem. Piercings that are still healing might be bothered by the extra weight or snagging.

Thanks for the insight on my question. I guess I will wait a while before I attempt a reverse navel ring.
