My new 2-year old bassett hound/black lab mix, Willow, ate one of my socks. But she removed the ankle part of it first, just ate the foot portion. Luckily, it passed!

OH MY GOSH! I'm glad she's OK!!
That reminds me - I can't believe I forgot to post this before. My aunt fed her new dog using a glass bowl. After a while they heard this crunching, and when they checked on her, she was EATING the glass bowl.
The called the vet, and they told her to just watch the dog and also give her a whole bunch of bread to bind with the glass and help it pass without injury. So they fed her a loaf of bread and waited.
Apparently, all the glass passed without causing serious damage.
But isn't that scary?!

Growing up we had a German Sherpard that would steal underwear from neighbors. Also she got a condom, a work boot, and other pieces of clothes when they were building a shopping center near the house. We found her at McDonalds one time at the drive thru menu. She was funny.

My husband had a saint bernard that literally ate a towel and cost us 2500 to remove it. My new puppy eats everything and anything including paperclips and straight pins. I guess she is luckly the ball end of the pin came out first.

I had an Irish setter that liked blackeye peas! We also had a beautiful lab/shepherd mix that was a chewer. He ate a calculator and a ring <img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
The wierdest, I think, was the chow/golden mix who found the Christmas candy hidden under my bed. He ate an entire bag of Hershey's kisses and left the foil wrappers. I've heard that chocolate can kill dogs, but he didn't even get sick!
