I'm posting this here, because I can't find a cat forum hey cat host! If we've got one, if not, we need a cat host! I love talking about them, anyway, Do any of you have a dog that is scared of cats? I have two dogs and two cats. I have a mini dobbie/ chihuahua mix, and a dog that is a... what do you call them? Those beagles like in the fox and the houd? One of those. My cats are a bengal and a hymalayan. My beagle is terrified! of my bengal! LOL! It cracks me up because he's such a big dog.

Hi Jessica,
We do have a cat's host. I don't know why she doesn't have a forum. You may tell us about your dogs or cats here any time.
I love dogs and cats. We always had cats until about a year ago when our last cat died. I think we'll eventually get a cat again, fully grown. My Weims would hurt a kitten... probably not intentionally, but they play to rough.
A beagle and a bengal. That's funny! I've had cats that hissed and growled and tried to show a dog who's boss, but the dog's didn't agree.
Is the Bengal more fiesty than most cats? They are so gorgeous! I've read that they have personalities more like a dog than a cat. Does your Bengal play fetch?
Your little dog must be adorable. What a comination! Have you added your pets' pictures
to our "Rate My dog" and "Rate My Cat"? I'd love to see their pictures. You may also post them in this forum.

I have a Great Dane (BLUEboy)and a gray tabby cat (Smokey). Let me tell you, even though they were introduced into the household around the same time and at very young ages, Smokey rules the roost!

It is hilarious to see a Great Dane lumber up and move when a small cat gives him the "look" that SHE wants to sit THERE, thank you....LOL. Smokey curls up and sleeps right up on Blue, purring all night. Reminds me of a marriage!!!

As soon as we get our digital camera Im photgraphing my little spotty guy. My bengal seems to have gotten all the bad traits that they can get. he's very wild, and if anyone besides immediate family tries to touch him, he gets really vicious! he's my little sweety, and we cuddle up and watch tv together every morning. Both of our cats are very affectionate (to immediate family) and follow my husband and I around.

Our Himalayan in skittish around strangers, and usually people don't see her until they've been around for a few months. Baby, on the other hand, immediately investigates any new people in the house. If you are allergic to cats, beware! Baby LOVES people who are allergic to him

I'd love to see their picture too, Kitty! I think my Fritz might act the same way around a really brave and bossy cat. Schatzie, I doubt it. If we do get a cat again, it will have to be one like yours!

Wow Jessica! Bengals are so neat looking, but I'm not sure if I want one quite that brave and bossy, especially since we can't get a kitten.

Your Himalayan is being a typical cat. Cats often like people who don't like them or anyone who tries to ignore them, which someone who's allergic probably does. I read that's because in the cat world, being aloof is a sign of friendship. They are wary of someone they meet who likes them and immediately pays attentions to them. They associate that with cats looking each other right in the eye and staring before they start to fight.

Oh my gosh! I have to tell you guys about his weekend! As many of you know, I go downtown on the weekends to sell my artwork. This can be dangerous for a woman alone, which is why my husband goes with me. Well, sometimes he has to leave me alone, when this happens my best friend leaves his rotttie/dobbie mixed dog with me. This dog looks like a doberman, but is the size of a great dane! He's the sweetest puppy you've ever seen! Anyway, last weekend we brought our mini dobie/ chihuahua mix with us.

The two dogs were sitting side by side, and looked like a weird mirror image , with the dog in the mirror shrunk down! A man commented on the two dogs, and my husband said...
"The little dog is the mama dog, the big one just has a glandular problem"
OMG!!!!!!!! I just about died laughing!!!!!!!!!

We have one dog, five cats and a hamster. We have lost one fish and a dog in the past year.

Our dog likes to chase the cats then grab them in his mouth. He gives them one shake and then releases them. The cats never believe me when I tell them he only does that because it annoys and scares them.

A few days ago while we were at my parents' house, the kids yelled for me to go outside. I discovered two of our cats chasing my brother's puppy.

It's always sad to have to scold the cats for scaring a dog.

LOL! That's too funny! I really do like dogs... but for some reason cats just appeal to me more

My husband is a dog person all the way! He's also a cat person, but he won't admit it! His cat is the himalayan, and she adores him. She follows him around the house whenever he is home.

My husband liked both the cats and dog but he started breaking out about two months ago whenever he touched one of the cats.

I am more of a cat person but I have to be careful now, hubby sometimes gets cat hairs off of me.

Hi XLadyRogue!
It's so good to see you back in our forums. I've missed you!

You have a real zoo at your house! We did too when our kids were growing up. Sounds like you and your cats communicate very well.

Have you posted any pictures of your pets in Rate My Cat or Rate My Dog?
