Go to highbridge (which should be a new hotspot in the airship) talk to the guys, watch the scene and you should be allowed to go back to the temple.

awesum possum, got the items for anema and got the rest of the aeons. now just to defeat omega. any tips?

Assuming you mean the quotes in my signiture...I made up all the quotes except for the last one which I took from a card game named MAgic the Gathering...I shoudl put that on there


Defeating Omega is simple <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
If you have the FFX version with dark aeons (the PAl and international version) then you can just increase your stats in the Battle arena in Calm lands
Otherwise you could probably get away without it.
It's probably better to have weapons with Break Damage limit like your pully powered Celestial Weapons.
With low stats under 80 you need to watch out for Omega's "Ultima atack". Auto Life is useful IF and only IF you have weapons with One MP Cost (like Lulu and Yuna's celestial weapons)
Attack hard with Attack Reels (the most powerful attack you can use)
Switch your overdrive to a useful mode such as "comrade" or maybe "Avenger" (if your characters will get KO'd heaps, which in that case don't even bother fighting)

I can't say Omega was much of a challenge since I fought him after preparing for the Dark Aeons and wiped him out without him getting more than 2 attacks in.

dark aeons? splain. are you talkin about the ones after you fight sin?

Ok during the game after you visit the Highbridge after the whole wedding insident and you start to begin your assualt on Sin you get to revisit the temples
now if you have the PAL or INT version no the american version then you will run into monks who try to dispose of you with hard to kill Dark Aeons.
If you go back to Besaid (which you will need to in order to get Aurons final Overdrive) then you will run into a guy who calls you infidels (traitors) and will call against you Dark Valefor which then you get the fun thrill of fighting <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
