i know its near impossible to do it without a guide the first time, i tried and failed too, maybe it can be done if u make like 50 savegames and spend weeks trying to figure out the % system. But all i'm saying is if u play the first time with a guide you will be seeing stuff in the guide that u maybe would have found out on ur own, so i think the % system is screwed up, it kinda forces ppl that wanna get everything out of the game the first time around to use a guide, spoilers hard to avoid in this case, and again getting 100% in this game is a challenge and u did it so way to go :music: <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

i gave up on getting 100% the first game, will go for it when i play the game again, also with a guide, but this way i can see what things i forgot or done wrong without too much spoilers

i mean.. how are u supposed to do it?!! i think the simplest way is to get to a certain point in the game (not very far, obviously :angel: ) and then go bak and try and do more n more stuf and then try n get a higher % as u can... and then keep the save with the highest % u think is possible... and then carry on but leave that save so u can go bak to it <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> but damn.. i dun wanna try it hehe!

I don't blame ya, it is hell trust me, i played the first chapter like 4 times and everytime i ended up with 24%, i used a total of 30 savegames and replayed every mission, chose all different options you can choose from(in dialogues), and still not 25 %. The b****in' thing is that the game doesn't show the decimals in the percentage, coz if it did it would be relatively easy to get the 100% without a guide, just save after everything you do, even the "insignificant" stuff. That way you could make a list of the stuff you see adding %. I managed to pinpoint a number of these cases on my own coz sometimes you can see that you've gotten % for doing something, but never how much exactly <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Hope FF12 won't have this % system anymore.

WITH a Guide, I don't think it's possible without a guide. At any rate, I know Aims & I had both played through at least once, before starting completely over using a guide.

(And I found that if my % was off, it was cause I hadn't viewed any new Crimson Spheres for the current chapter - and you have at least checked a guide, or you wouldn't have know about the 25% for Chapter1.)

Well at first i assumed there were 4 chapters so i figured u could get 25% for each chapter, but a friend of mine told me there were 5 chapters and the % was unevenly divided. He also told me that if u have finished ch1 you should have 25% if ur trying for a 100% game (which i hadn't given up yet). Y do u assume that i have checked a guide when i told u i NEVER do on my first game, i hate guides and the fact that this game forces players to use one.

And it is possible to get 100% on a game by yourself, i mean how else would ppl be able to write a guide for the game? I just think trying to do it is just waaay to time consuming and obsolete coz of the fact that guides already exist.

Ok, Sorry that I assumed you checked a guide.

Anyway the reason I say it's not possible, is cause no one would know about the Pressing the X thing at the End of 3 on their own. Someone would have to TELL them or have checked somewhere. Or that you must save All 5 cart items, or Sell ALL 10 tickets AND make a profit at Moonflow. The list can just go on and on, and then there's the easily missed things, cause you don't do it in the right order.
