i had a dream i killed my mother i just felt fear not regret or pity , i broke open her nostrols with my fingers and i guess i shot her 2wice , my sister was against me she called the police but i told them it
was self defense and i tried to make it convincing and keep my compusure whcih wasnt as hard as i thought. i felt warm and calm inside knowing ann sexton was there; my guardian she died in my dreama nd kept giving me heart to heart advice. i saw those big blue eyes in the car. she saved me.

i told her i liked her poetry in the car i was so excited to be near her. origivation was in my dream as well i showed someone traci? the new edition with my article in it. ann sexton was the main thrill*

the police asked me what i was going to do now to change things and i said from now on ill only allow safe warm people in my life i felt ann sextons encouragement safe warm people and i woke up.

Hi Gina!

Thanks for sharing your dream. The feelings you share in regard to killing your mother in the dream indicate that you've had issues with her. Is that true? The key words I'm picking up on are self-defense and that you had no regret.

You're spot on in saying that your guardian was there to provide a feeling of safety. The article you speak of indicates self-confidence, that you are learning that you have skills and abilities and that you are going to be all right.

The Bible is full of stories of how God spoke to his people through dreams and angels. Perhaps this dream is what led you in that direction.

Hi Joy,

It's hard to say. I know that I've had times when I honestly had to analyze whether a memory was something that had really happened or if it was a dream.

My dreams usually speak to me in symbolism. For instance, I once had a dream that my mother and I were at a huge carnival or festival. She was 9 months pregnant, lol, and we became separated. People kept coming to me and saying "Your mother needs you."

At the time, we lived 1500 miles away from each other. The next day, she called to tell me she'd been diagnosed with a terminal illness.

In a sense, that is a dream coming true. She did need me. It was about two years later, but I did move to be nearer to her after I graduated.

I just reviewed a great book on this topic. It contains exercises to develop the ability to share dreams with your partner:

In regards to my going with him, I think not, I finally got the promotion to FT and am very happy with my work. But I find myself mourning his loss already sometimes. I realized last week that perhaps I am in love with him, but he is so hard to read at times that I am holding myself back. I tell myself that I am being silly because it has only been a month.
Again, time will tell.

The other day I had a strange dream, I was at the grocery store with my 3 daughters and we were in line to check out and there was a shopping cart there with someone's groceries in it one of my daughter's put the items on the conveyer belt and the guy showed up who's groceries that they were come to find out they belonged to one of my class mates that I went to school with and I had known since I was a kid! He came and said that those were his items and he got in line by me and proceded to pay for the groceries. I woke up after that, I was wondering if someone can tell me just what that dream meant! I have been trying to figure it out but I can't!

Hi Joy!

I'm sorry for the delay in response. My computer is doing wierd things, I'm on hubby's right now. I may be off for a few days until we get mine fixed....

First, have you run into this person or heard news about him since the dream? It's a good possibility.

Now for the symbols. Let's start with the grocery store. Shops in dreams can symbolize a smorgasbord of opportunities that life may offer for you. But in your dream, the groceries belonged to someone else. Are you feeling short-changed in any way? Maybe reflecting upon where you are right now in life and being disappointed? Since your girls were with you - are you feeling like you're not doing enough for them?

I ask because he's related to your education since you went to school with him and this may be an indirect symbolism of school. It may be a metaphor for what you are learning from life over a long period of time. This could mean that you're feeling nostalgic and would like to recapture the idealism, freedom and hopefulness you had when you were younger.

Does any of that make sense? In trying to figure it out, what have you considered?

Also - did he pay for your groceries or just his? Or both? I'm not clear on that.

eek Whoa, you didn't say that you didn't even have any groceries the first time!

Am I being too nosey in asking if you are currently married or partnered?

Could you be wishing for a knight in shining armor with more grocery money?

<img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Remember that some dreams are just wierd or brought on by routine stress. It would make sense to have that type of dream if you were worried about money, or even just planning to go to the grocery store tomorrow.
